A graduate of the Universidade Federal de Goiás in Brazil, Ashlee Estwick received her BSc in Social Communication, with a concentration in Advertising in 2018. She has both marketing agency and in-house experience, speaks fluent Portuguese and has worked as a branding consultant to build the blueprint for trendy local brands.
Ashlee is the Founder of Rawsoul, an independent platform founded in 2017 that celebrates authentic Barbadian culture — the people, their spaces, food and music. Ashlee consults on projects relating to contemporary Caribbean visual culture, art and music. Her consulting also extends to brand development, creative production, digital marketing, social media strategy and content creation. This is where Ashlee combines her creative vision with her love for strategy. She has worked alongside some of top advertising executives and artists to develop campaigns for both national and regional brands such as Banks Beer, Deputy, Abed’s Barbados, Mount Gay Rum and Flow Caribbean.
Aside from her academic, professional and entrepreneurial pursuits, Ashlee also collaborates with local artists as a producer for music videos, photoshoots and other artist development projects. She is a contributor to british sustainable tourism platform Trippin World, fluent Portuguese speaker and street photographer. Ashlee has also worked as a model for American Apparel, Mount Gay Barbados, Kaiso and EyeQ Barbados.
